A/B Switch allows sharing of DB25/X.21 BIS interface devices.
Manually controlled by front panel pushbutton or remotely via DB9 connector accepting RS232 serial data, PathWay® Model 7231 enables sharing of DB25/X.21 BIS Interface device between 2 other X.21 devices. Two-position device allows user to issue remote ASCII commands to set pushbutton-position change delay value, which is amount of time operator must hold down pushbutton before acutal switch occurs. All 25 interface pins are switched and switch ports are transparent to data speed and format.
