Models I8020 and I8820 I/Port access devices connect users to centralized blade hardware via Ethernet. They operate in both wired and wireless environments and are managed by Grid Center allocation software, with which IT administrators can set up policies to allocate I/Ports to specific blades or group of blades. Having no fans or other moving parts, I/Ports generate little heat making them suitable for hospital operating rooms and manufacturing floors.
