Consuming 1 W in active mode and 0.3 W in standby mode, APM801xx SOCs for video-enabled devices support CPU frequencies up to 800 MHz. They offer high-speed interchip and networking connectivity for delivery of high performance at low power dissipation. Interfaces such as PCIe, SATA, GigE, SDIO, TDM, and USB 2.0 are included in 10 x 10 mm or 14 x 14 mm BGA packages. In connected displays, units serve as network co-processors to video processing subsystem for Internet downloads.
