Combining web server software with diagnostic functionality, Model PB-XEPI enables users to monitor PROFIBUS networks remotely through web browser, without disrupting network operations. Coupler can identify malfunctions in network and send error message via e-mail that includes link to device. Users can then view detailed information about malfunction and recommended procedures to fix it. Using FDT/DTM software, PB-XEPI may be configured as active node on PROFIBUS network.
