Featuring ruggedized design, Model 4149 operates at speeds of 1.5 Mbps for RS232-to-fiber conversion and 20 Mbps for RS485/422-to-copper conversion. Power input is protected from transients and features 3 kVdc isolation to prevent system ground loops. Powered from 9-36 Vdc input range, converter operates from -40 to +85°C and includes user-selectable fiber polarity, dual DB9 power connectors, as well as TX, RX, and power indicator LEDs.
