Supporting either 4- or 8-pin M12 twisted pair cable and 4- and 5-pin 7/8-16UN power cable, fully encapsulated switches are capable of information transfer and real-time I/O control in harsh environments. Offered in managed and unmanaged options, 4-pin switch suits EtherNet/IP(TM) applications, while 8-pin switch targets standard Ethernet applications. Unmanaged switch comes with 5 or 9 ports, while managed switch has 9 ports, one of which is used as RS-232 configuration port.
