Integrated single chip solution, VIA VL810 SuperSpeed USB hub controller allows single USB port to be used by up to 4 high-bandwidth USB 3.0 devices simultaneously. Upstream and downstream ports are also backwards compatible with previous USB specifications and offer support for hi- (480 Mbps), full- (12 Mbps), and low-speed (1.5 Mbps) traffic. Controller allows devices to communicate latency tolerance to host and enables links to enter low power states when link partners are idle.
