Small Page NAND family of 128-, 256-, and 512-Mb flash memory devices are organized into 16 Kb blocks, each divided into pages of 512 bytes, plus 16 spare bytes per page that can be read and programmed by page. Copy Back Program mode enables data stored in one page to be programmed directly into another without external buffering. Development software features include error correction code, bad block management, wear leveling algorithms, as well as hardware simulation models.
