Built using forty 256 GB Patriot Torqx solid state drives, Project Artemis includes 48 GB 1,333 MHz DDR2 ECC-registered memory, 1 x SuperMicro X8DTH-I X58 server motherboard, and 2 x Intel Xeon 5500 CPUs. Workstation has ten 5.25 in. bay adaptors that each hold four 2.5 in. SATA drives. When combined with 5 LSI(TM) Mega-RAID® SAS 9260-8i 8-port 6 GBps SATA+SAS RAID controllers, 40 Torqx drives in RAID 0 configuration achieve over 150,000 IOPS and over 5,500 Write speed.
