Multi-service Telum(TM) 1204-O3 AdvancedMC® Module can interconnect between any supplied protocols as selected on per-port basis. Software configurable unit enables packet processing, directly terminating and switching traffic on card rather than sending it to off-board processor. Processing up to 750,000 packets/sec, module supports ATM and IP interworking, as well as local port-to-port Automatic Protection Switching, enabling continuous service if OC-3 link fails.
