Based on enhanced multimedia architecture platform, EMMA3SL/HD(TM) and EMMA3SL/SD(TM) enable users to build STBs and DTVs with H.264 video compression standard. Former supports HD video broadcasts, while latter supports SD broadcasts. In addition to H.264-compliant video decoder, devices combine all key functions needed to receive and decode digital broadcasts. Other features include audio DSPs, EHCI-compliant USB 2.0 host controller, and IEEE 802.3/802.3u/802.3x-compliant Ethernet MAC.
